
Summer Camp
From June 20th thru August 5th
Our Spanish Summer Camp is designed for students currently attending Spanish Immersion programs or with prior Spanish experience. During the day, children rotate through different classes and activities with small class sizes and specifically designed to place a high emphasis on oral fluency. Spanish is spoken during camp 100% of the time.
Ages: 2-9 years old
Schedule:
Regular: M-F 9 AM-4 PM (Early Bird $300/ WK Regular $350/Wk.)
Extended: M-F 8 AM- 6 PM (Early Bird $400/WK Regular $450/Wk.)
Healthy hot lunches are offered for a rate of $25 per week

Summer Camp Options
All our classes are taught in a pod-like setting of similar age groups with a maximum of 12 students per classroom, to maintain a 12:1 teacher to student ratio. Scheduled activities vary per week and include water play, yoga, cuisine, sports, DIY projects, and much more. Every week we will host a special event such as inflatable waterplay houses, guest speakers, and other fun activities for students to enjoy their summer.
All our teachers are vaccinated and we follow strict safety protocols suggested by local health authorities. At this moment masking is mandatory indoors but might change soon for vaccinated students. Week 1: Steam Week
June 20th thru 24th
through fun team building activities, engineering projects, and difficult challenges our students will learn how to work with a team speaking only in Spanish to create a final project and then present it to the class

Week 2: The Great Coral Barrier
June 27th thru July 1st
Discover the amazing biodiversity of the Great Coral Barrier, the amazing creatures that live there, their complex ecosystem, and the challenges it faces due to global warming. Through fun experiments, students will understand a bit about the bleaching process which threatens coral reefs around the world.
In Addition, students will learn about Australian Culture and traditions and their language.

Week 3: Wonderer of the Amazon Rainforest
July 5th thru 8th
Students will learn about all the wonderful creatures that live in the Amazon rainforest and the types of climate and vegetation one can find in different parts of the rainforest. In addition, we will get to try and cook some traditional foods from the region, learn about traditional dances and how do the people native to the region live.

Week 4: Tour Around the World: South American Edition
July 11th thru 15th
Pack your bags and take this imaginary trip to South America with us. Explore a different South American country every day, cook delicious regional foods from the area, and learn, more about their landscapes music, culture, folk dances, and much more. On Friday we will have a special surprise guest.

Week 5:A trip Around the World: Europe Experience
July 18th thru 22nd
Pack your bags and take this imaginary trip to South America with us. Explore a different European country every day, cook delicious regional foods from the area, and learn, more about their landscapes music, culture, folk dances, and much more. On Friday we will have a special surprise guest.

Week 6: Trio Around the World: Asian Edition
June 25th thru 29th
Pack your bags and take this imaginary trip to South America with us. Explore a different European country every day, cook delicious regional foods from the area, and learn, more about their landscapes music, culture, folk dances, and much more. On Friday we will have a special surprise guest.

Week 7: Inventors Workshop
August 1nd thru 5th
Students will explore and learn about great inventions that changed the world. They will use their imaginations to create their own revolutionary inventions. Then each child will get to share their inventions with classmates through slogans and commercial spots they will create themselves in Spanish.

Week 8: Bakers Workshop
August 15th thru 17th
Students will explore delicious pastry and bread recipes from around the world. Then they will create their own brand and sell their goods on the last day of camp.

Week 9: Bakers Workshop
August 20th thru 25th
Students will learn how to collaborate and work as a team to elaborate fun DIY projects. They will design their own logo and plan how to present their products to then sell them to their peers in our market place.

Week 10: Trip to Mexico
August 28th thru September 2nd
Our students will discover the colors, flavors, and traditions of our closest Spanish-speaking neighbor. On Friday September 2nd we might plan a fun excursion to Olvera street or have a guest speaker at school
